We offer therapy in clients’ homes, daycares, and private schools as well as virtual tele-therapy sessions when appropriate.

Session length depends on your child’s needs, but most therapy sessions are between 30 to 45 minutes, and most evaluation sessions are 45 to 60 minutes.

Following an evaluation, we’ll create a treatment plan that best supports your child’s progress and family goals. Frequency of sessions varies based on individual needs. It can vary from biweekly to twice per week.

CRW Speech Therapy provides in-home, in-school, and in-daycare services in the Chicagoland area, and tele-therapy and consultation services for families throughout Illinois.

An evaluation includes a review of your child’s history, parent and/or child interviews when appropriate, structured and play-based assessments, and an initial discussion of results. You will receive a detailed report with recommendations following the session.

CRW Speech Therapy is in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO. If you have out-of-network benefits with another insurance provider, we will be happy to provide a superbill that you can submit for possible reimbursement.

Our rates vary based on the type of service (i.e., evaluation vs. therapy) and therapy. Please contact us for detailed pricing.

24 hours’ notice is required for all cancellations. Sessions canceled with less notice may be subject to a fee.

Every child’s timeline is different. Some benefit from short-term support, while others may make steady progress over a longer period. We'll regularly check in about goals and adjust the plan together based on your child’s needs and growth.

If you're concerned about your child’s communication, it’s worth checking in. Common signs include trouble being understood, not meeting developmental milestones, or frustration when trying to express ideas. An evaluation can help clarify whether support is needed.

Speech is how we say sounds and words (like pronunciation and fluency). Language is how we understand and use words to share ideas. Children can have strengths in one area and challenges in the other, and therapy can support both.

Yes! With your permission, we are happy to collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other providers to make sure your child’s support is consistent across environments.

The first session is all about connection. We’ll spend time getting to know your child through play, conversation, or activities that feel natural to them. We'll also chat with you about your goals, observations, and any questions you have. The focus is on building comfort and understanding, not testing or performance.
